Cactus has quite a distinguishable scent, with traces of sweet citrus and pine, followed by spice, lemon, and a touch of Pine Sol. The nugs are forest green in colour and are covered in resin-coloured hairs and silky white trichomes. The plant flourishes in a warm climate, with a flowering time of 8-10 weeks indoors. It can also be grown outdoors, but it has strict temperature requirements, so your best bet will probably be planting in late September or early October.
The effects of this strain do not take long to kick in, and you will instantly feel uplifted. You will feel invigorated and fully prepared to finish any outstanding tasks or engage in productive work. Once your energy levels start to wane, the high will move North to your head, and you will start to feel calmer and ready to relax. This shift will bring around euphoria and you may want to sit down and watch something or simply sink into the sensation. This phase may last a while, which is why it is usually advised to consume Cactus in the evening before you plan to sleep - which you will do so in extreme comfort.
Cactus has some handy medical applications, such as curing insomnia, relieving symptoms of anxiety, stress, and panic, and even providing pain relief. Though it has a strong Sativa kick at first, the Indica phase that kicks in later is quite intense, and you are more than likely going to find yourself dozing off warm and sound after the high wears off.
